Things to ponder that make me wonder?

I have recently started following my cousin's blog which has inspired me to pull up my blogs, blow the dust off and start blogging. My comeback blog is going to be about things that cause me to wonder... "what's the deal here?" See what you think?

1. Why are people anti-pet?
   That is truly perplexing to me. Being home today was great but would have been more enjoyable with a kitten. Which brings me to another ponder on the subject of pets.
   Why would someone that likes having a pet choose a dog over a cat?
   I wondered that last night when I saw someone walking his dog in the blizzard. Quite odd.
   
   
2. Why didn't I watch my three favorite shows (of the last few decades that is) from the beginning?
   My three favorite shows LOST, Seinfeld, and 24 were all on several seasons before I even clued in they were on TV. So do I subliminally decide a show is not my favorite show if I've watched it from day one? Before I leave this ponder I also wonder... Were all the mysteries on LOST solved? Are Jerry, Elaine, George, & Kramer still in jail? (Don't you all agree with me that that was a lame ending to the all time best comedy ever?) Will Jack ever be back?
   
   
3. Is Google going to take over the world? Is there anything the Google-ites haven't thought of and made better?
   While I certainly like their stuff and use it even when I know I should be boycotting them because of some ridiculous cause they're supporting, I still can't seem to breakaway from their stuff. I keep getting drawn further and further into the Google matrix. My most recent step into the matrix was today with Google Chrome. Most excellent browser. I've already forgot all about IE which I've used for years.
   
   
4. Why do Macs not get viruses but PCs do unless you have anti-virus software?
   My theory on this is that Microsoft and Symantec/McAfee/etc... are all in the tank together to make money. Microsoft keep churning out PCs that get viruses (when we know they don't have to build these PCs this way... hence Mac) and Symantec is paying hackers to create these viruses so they can sell software. Microsoft knows this but is blackmailing Symantec. Do you see the black helicopters?
   
   
5. Will there ever come a time when I'm warm in the winter?
   Doubtful... no need to elaborate as I sit inches away from a space heater!
   
   

OK... now that you've stayed with me this long I may as well let you know something... these things haven't made me wonder until today when I was trying to think up a topic for my comeback blog. So file this away in your memory bank in case I become famous one day and there's a game show "This is Monica's Life" where you have to answer some quirky, trivia questions about me.

P.S. What is the deal with the fonts on this blog? It should all be Arial, Normal and that's how it displays in draft mode. When I look at it in preview mode it's two fonts and different sizes. Makes not sense. Should this be ponder #6???
